Medico-Legal experience

Miss Robertson is happy to be instructed by both Claimant and Defendant law firms in personal injury and clinical negligence actions. Miss Robertson can usually turnaround reports within 6-8 weeks, or sooner if required.

Clinical Practice & Experience

Miss Robertson currently practices as a substantive Consultant in Obstetrics and Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals, Oxford. She trained at Cambridge University and University College London before undertaking specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology followed by additional subspecialist training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine in Oxford.

Clinical Interests

Miss Robertson has clinical specialist interests and expertise in obstetrics, high risk pregnancies and maternal and fetal medicine.  This includes intrapartum care, congenital fetal abnormalities and fetal growth disorders, such as fetal growth restriction and fetal macrosomia. She is the Quality and Audit Lead for Maternity Services at Oxford University Hospitals and has a particular interest in the management of large for gestational age fetuses.

Research Interests

Miss Robertson has previously undertaken postgraduate basic science research in placental biology and histopathology. She has published in peer reviewed journals on her current active research interests of the management of the large for gestational age fetus and the use of machine learning to optimise accuracy of fetal ultrasound, particularly in the third trimester, and prediction of adverse perinatal outcome based on cumulative pregnancy risk.

Management Experience

Miss Robertson is the Quality and Audit Lead for Maternity Services at Oxford University Hospitals, chairing OUH Maternity Guideline Committee which is responsible for the continuous update of clinical practice with evidence-based recommendations.

Summary of Publications

Miss Robertson has published high impact research and quality improvement projects in peer reviewed journals, including the ELECTIVIST booking system for planned Caesarean sections which has been adopted both nationally and internationally in maternity units.

Teaching & Training

Miss Robertson is an undergraduate tutor for medical students at Trinity College, University of Oxford and is a clinical supervisor for resident doctors. She is the founder and managing director of a PLC company providing online revision resources, including e-learning and podcasts for post-graduate learning in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
