Medico-Legal experience
Dr Krishnan has been providing medico-legal advice for a number of years. He has undergone his expert witness training and is registered with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the UK Register of Expert Witnesses. He is happy to be instructed by both Claimant and Defendant law firms in both personal injury and clinical negligence actions. Dr Krishnan can usually turn around reports with 8-12 weeks, sooner if required.
Clinical Practice & Experience
Dr Krishnan is a Consultant Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at the Manchester Royal Infirmary where he is the Radiology Lead for the treatment of complex thoracic and abdominal aneurysms. His practice entails general radiology and specialist vascular radiology imaging and interventions. He routinely undertakes interventional radiology procedures including embolisation, angioplasty, stent-insertion, and hepatic and transplant interventions.
Research Interests
Dr Krishnan's research interests include uterine and prostatic artery embolisation, imaging and intervention. He is currently involved in trials investigating peripheral vascular disease (PVD), pelvic vein embolisation, and fistula intervention.

Dr Krishnan is an author of several original papers, abstracts, case reports, technical notes, book chapters and reviews published in leading radiology and interventional radiology Journals.
Prizes and Awards
Editor’s medal for best publication in CVIR 2014 (highest impact factor journal in Interventional Radiology) for research on uterine artery embolisation.
Best Original Paper presentation, British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) 2012.
Medtronic University Scholarship - Competitive endovascular scholarship encompassing a training course consisting of modules which enhance and complement training in endovascular aneurysm repair and thoracic aneurysm repair 2011.
