Ms Bouch qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2004 from Manchester University and in 2013 she completed a MSc in Amputee Rehabilitation at Bradford University.
Ms Bouch has worked at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) since qualifying in 2004 and initially completed general rotations in a wide variety of areas gaining a broad range of clinical experience. In 2007, Ms Bouch specialised in Amputee Rehabilitation and Vascular Surgery gaining valuable clinical experience in this area in both the acute and outpatient settings. In 2013 she began her current role as Clinical Lead Physiotherapist of the Vascular Therapy Team. This involves the clinical and operational management of therapists who work collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic and effective care.
Clinical Interests
Ms Bouch is passionate about rehabilitation following vascular surgery and major amputation. She keeps up to date with current research to ensure evidence-based practice and introduced the use of rigid removable dressings (RRDs) at MFT. She also has a keen interest in the management and care of individuals with intermittent claudication including supervised exercise.
