Dr Pramod has attended the Bond Solon Excellence in report writing course and the RCPCH expert witness course.

Clinical Practice & Experience

Dr Nair graduated from Mumbai University, India in 1998 and completed 4 years of paediatric training in Mumbai where he obtained his DCH and FCPS degrees. During this time he worked in many different paediatric specialities and managed a wide range of common and rare paediatric conditions.  Dr Nair has been working in the NHS since 2004 and completed his MRCPCH (UK) in 2008. He did his paediatric rotation from Nottingham (East Midland) deanery working in various allied paediatric specialities like endocrine, allergy, cardiology, oncology, anaesthesia, neonatal & Paediatric intensive care, ECMO units and community paediatrics. He currently works as an NHS Consultant Paediatrician at Bedford Trust and holds a weekly private practice at the Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes.

Clinical Interests

Dr Nair has special expertise in paediatric cardiology and paediatric syncope. He is recognised for his management of POTS cases using evidence based investigations and management strategies. He also has expertise in management of haemangiomas using beta blockers.

Management Experience

From 2018 to the present, Dr Nair has been the Clinical Lead for the Department of Paediatrics, providing leadership and oversight for the department in various areas, including recruitment, complaint resolution, workforce, bringing about changes, and innovation.
