Medico-Legal experience

Dr Pandya enjoys a full medico-legal practice instructed by both Claimant and Defendant law firms in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Clinical Practice & Experience

Dr Pandya is a Clinical Director for Acute Medicine at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust where he has worked as a Consultant in Acute and General Internal Medicine since October 2021; he leads the Acute Medicine Department across two acute hospitals in North West London.

Dr Pandya graduated from the King’s College London School of Medicine at Guy’s, Kings College and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2012 and attained an MBBS with distinction. He completed an Intercalated BSc in Pharmacology in 2009 and attained a First Class Honours.

Clinical Interests

Dr Pandya works across the Medical High Dependency Unit, Acute Medical Take, Acute Medical Unit, and Medical Same Day Emergency Care.

Dr Pandya is an experienced Consultant Physician who looks after acutely unwell medical patients admitted through various secondary care pathways, including the Emergency Department and has experience in managing patients requiring level 2 care (respiratory support and inotropic support) on the Medical High Dependency Unit.

Dr Pandya diagnoses and manages; -acute medical conditions presenting to hospital through the Emergency Department or Same Day Emergency Care; -medical patients requiring Level 2 care, including respiraratory support (Nasal High Flow, CPAP and NIV) and inotropic support on the Medical HDU.

Management Experience

Dr Pandya is a Clinical Director for Acute Medicine at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. His role includes, but is not limited to departmental governance, complaints handling, serious incident review group presentations and service development within the department.

Summary of Publications

Dr Pandya has abstracts, posters, presentations, and publications which have been presented at conferences such as the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) Conference and the Society of Acute Medicine Conference. His publications have focused on cough, reflux aspiration and lung disease. His other interests cover the full breadth of acute medicine.

Teaching & Training

Dr Pandya is an educational and clinical supervisor of junior doctors, pharmacicts, and other allied healthcare staff. He is involved in local recruitment at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. He has been involved with Acute Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine National Recruitment on interview panels. Dr Pandya has been an OSCE/PACES examiner for the Imperial College London School of Medicine
